Last show!!! Andrea is here. David Whittemore, David Jurecki
and Patricia Rios all flew in to see the last show and
to attend a big meeting and tree planting ceremony with
the Autism Society in Washington DC tomorrow. It was a
great last show and Yanni had a party for the band at
the hotel. See you all next tour. Thanks, Charlie.

I can’t believe it, two shows to go. Being here
in Reading, PA, I’m reminded of the Monopoly game.
Probable one of the most enthusiastic audiences of the
tour. I went with Yanni on his Lear jet tonight after
the show flying to Baltimore. I had to get there faster
because Andrea is waiting for me in Baltimore.

Feeling a lot better today. The concert went very well.
Probably the oldest arena that we ever played. It looked
like something out of a 1930’s movie. I got to meet
Amy Robinson and her family. They have two autistic children,
also. We had a great conversation after the show. It was
very encouraging because their older son was showing almost
no signs of autism now. Keep on being a great mom, Amy.

Day off. It’s snowing here. The crew and the band,
one by one, have been getting sick. Well, I finally got
it. I think it’s strep throat, so I went to the
hospital today to get a shot. Turns out the doctor was
a Yanni fan and was going to the show tomorrow. I told
him he better make me well because I don’t know
what Yanni sounds like without drums.

Life is so rough on the road. Tonight at catering we had
steak and Lobster. Man, it’s a rough life.

Wow, it’s getting colder and colder. I actually went
to some stores today to try to find some gloves and a hat.
The band and the crew sometimes think I’m crazy because
I have a space heater behind me on the drumset. I need to
be warm, otherwise I can’t play. |
