ETHNICITY TOUR BAND
Again,
what an exciting mix of new and old band members. Most members
of the band are now parents and this provides a welcome common
connection outside of the music. I hope to get more information
posted here on each of them. For now here's a little enticement.
Charlie Adams
My biggest features will be a giant gong and of course the Marching
Season Solo. This time I'll be doing the solo like ol' times on
a second drum set rolled right out to the front of the stage.
I'll make that 4-piece kit buzz! For the electronic side, the
only thing that I will not directly play will be some shakers
and tambourines.
Watch
for me after the shows. After getting changed I will come
down on the floor for autographs and will try to have 8X10's
available . |
There
will be 2 Keyboardists, you know them both.
Ming Freeman returns! They are both
GREAT!
Pedro
Eustache is also back.
Two vocalists, Alfreda Geraldo
and Michelle Amato, are really cool and will
perform over top of backing keyz choirs. Michelle is a great compliment
to Alfreda, she is jazzy and operatic and also sings in Greek.
Ramon
Flores is on Trumpet.
An unbelievable new harpist from Paraguay
joins us.
Victor Espinola plays the harp like
a guitar. Very cool!
A Hammered Dulcimer player,
Dan Landrum from Chattanooga , will
also be featured. This instrument is played with little mallets.
Dan has a great CD and includes some Beatle tunes on it.
The new interesting percussionist from Stomp,
Walter Rodriguez, will be making
"noise".
Sarah
O'Brien on Cello.
There will be no Conductor this tour.
The Symphony Orchestra will be a little smaller
also.
Jeffrey
Silverman, our orchestrator, has Yanni roots. He orchestrated
the first orchestral Yanni concert...the one in Dallas.
