Fr April 2

Bridgeport, CT
I love playing the drums in concert with Yanni, but today I would rather be at home in Nashville celebrating my little girl, Courtney’s 12th birthday. Happy Birthday, Courtney. However, I just talked to my wife and Courtney is having 15 girls over for a sleep over, so maybe it’s not so bad being here on the road.

Th April 1

Bridgeport, CT
After a 12-hour bus ride, we finally have a day off. I talked to the kids today and they told me that my new German Shepard, Maximus, had gotten out of the fence and ran away. I was really bummed out because I wasn’t there. Then they called me back and said, “April Fool’s”! Either my kids are getting smarter, or I’m getting dumber (or both).

We March 31

Charlotte, NC
When my family and I moved from Los Angeles, this was one of the cities on our list to move to. It’s only 30 minutes away from Monroe, NC where my Ludwig Drums are made. The factory is right by the forest where they get the wood to make the drums. Ludwig is the last of the American-made drum sets. So buy American!!!

Tu March 30

Columbia, SC
We’re heading back up north again. The weather is starting to get cold. But the audience was very warm! Thank God we only have a one-hour drive tonight.

Mo March 29

Day off (yea!!!)

Su March 28

Fort Meyers, FL
Feel sorry for the road crew. This is our tenth date in a row and the road crew has not seen a hotel yet. They sleep on the bus each night and have to shower at the arena. They’re the true unspoken heroes of the tour. Tonight we have a long drive (10 hours)
