Great show tonight. The band was really on. I got to see
one of my former drum students, Austin, and his family.

I got to see Peter Hart of Hart Dynamics, electronic percussion.
All of my electronic drums on this tour are brand new.
I want to thank Peter for a great product and his belief
in me. If you want to see more of the drums, check out
his web site (www.hartdynamics.com)

It’s nice being in Florida again. The weather is
great. Jim and I had a great walk by the ocean. The Florida
crowds are always so good. Only a 3-hour drive to the
next city.

What a beautiful city. We went to the French Quarter and
had some great New Orleans’ food. Great shopping
here, too. I actually found a pair of black and white,
two-toned shoes, that goes with my 40’s look. The
misfortune we had here is that the buses were parked far
away from the hotel and got broken into. Fortunately,
nobody lost anything.

After the show, the band was given a choice to either
stay in Charleston that night and fly to New Orleans the
next day, or stay on the tour bus and experience a 14-hour
drive. My Russian buddies and I (Eugene & Sasha, the
violist and cello players) chose to stay on the bus. We
had a great time. We watched hours and hours of the Sopranos.
The next day we ended up beating the other band members
who flew!

Jim and I went for our daily walk today and ran into some
Yanni fans that were attending their 5th concert already
on this tour. |
