Sa March 20

Knoxville, TN
We got a tremendous rain storm here tonight in Knoxville. It is actually better that Andrea and the kids didn’t drive from Nashville after all. Andrea was sick and it’s hard to take the two autistic boys to the concerts--Jared would want to be on stage playing with the drums and Sean would be in the corner covering his ears. The good news is that Andrea is flying out to our last show in Baltimore to see me and meet with the people from the Autism Society. Part of the drum solo DVD will include the Knoxville solo. My drum student, Drew, and his family, Paul and his family, and Bill & Linda Gnegy all made the drive from Nashville. It was great seeing all of them again.

Fr March 19

Louisville, KY
The last time we played Louisville, we played in a beautiful auditorium called the Palace. Also, I had to buy a Louisville Slugger baseball bat for the boys. It was nice to see lots of fans from Nashville who drove up.

Th March 18

Champaign, IL
I remember driving down here from Chicago to the Assembly Hall in Champaign to see the rock band, Emerson, Lake & Palmer in 1972. It was cool to play in the same venue as my rock heroes did. Also, in my rock band, Chameleon used to play the cool college bar, The Red Lion. The lead singer in Chameleon graduated from the University of Illinois here in Champaign.

Tu March 16

Fort Wayne, IN
The concert tonight was really good. The crowd seemed to really enjoy themselves. I got to see a lot of people tonight after the show. I also got to see another friend (actually, the father of a good friend of mine, Brandon, from Nashville) That was nice.

Mo March 15

Fort Wayne, IN
Let there be snow... We took a walk in the snow today. We have today off because of the long bus ride, so that was nice. I got to see a friend of mine, Cindy and had lunch with her. It's so nice to meet up with people from the last tour.

Su March 14

Kansas City, MO
First of all, Happy Birthday to my sister-in-law, Jodie!!

We're looking forward to being in Kansas City and getting some of that famous Bar-B-Que. Had a good show, but we had to leave pretty early because of the long drive to Fort Wayne.
